A 22 page instruction manual includes a good introduction to fiber optics, principles of light, transmitter, receiver, construction, quiz, and trouble shooting guide. Also includes a detailed drawing and write up an how to terminate an optical fiber. Board sizes are about 1″ by 4″ inches, transmitter and receiver. Two 9 volt batteries are required.

Kit requires soldering and assembly. Overall a nice introduction to learn the basics of fiber optics. Kit contains over 20 components, two screened PC boards, solder, speaker, and schematic.
