A quality stylus burnisher will give you a better, easier job with dry transfers than using a ball point pen.
Polished metal tips provide even transfer, even if you use too much pressure. This spoon tip burnisher tool with tip suitable for transfers 1/4" and larger. The other end is a 3/8" felt, flexible burnisher.
