Description |
This new sophisticated VFO circuit kit by Datak is designed for amateur radio experimenters. This PLL controlled kit contains two boards, a top board controller with LCD frequency display and keyboard pad for entering frequencies. The bottom board is a PLL controlled VFO with additional room for the user to add his own circuits.
The PLL oscillator provides a rock solid base for your projects from 440Khz to 185.000Khz. The circuit operates on 12V dc and draws up to 100mA. The instruction manual includes circuit ideas for a 2 watt 40 meter CW transmitter and other additional circuits. Optional mounting case is available (No. PB170). A write up about the PLL-VFO experimenter kit was in Dec. 2002 edition of World Radio. This kit is recommended for the experienced builders and hobbyists. Kit contains over 61 components, two screened PC boards, and LCD display.
