Description |
This is an infrared (IR) toggle switch which can be used to work with any button on any modern remote control module. Push any button of your remote control unit and the relay in this kit will turn on. Push any button a few seconds or hours later and the relay will toggle off.
This kit includes a write up on how it works, circuit description, and construction. The circuit has a on board 1 amp relay and an IR detector and decoder IC. A D flip-flop part number MC14013B IC is used to toggle the relay. Any DC voltage in the range of 8 to 15V can be used. Board size is about 1" x 2 3/4" inches. This is a very useful control circuit. Kit contains 25 components, screened PC board, and schematic.
