Description |
| This handy little circuit can be used to monitor battery conditions for battery packs ranging from 5V up to 15VDC, though when built it needs to be configured for operation at 5V, 8V, or 12V. Note that when built for 8V it will also do nicely for 9V batteries, just as building it for 12V operation will allow monitoring a 15VDC battery pack. The onboard momentary switch prevents battery drain by disconnecting the circuit except when the switch is pushed to take a reading. Seven LED's indicate if the battery is fully or partially charged, or getting weak.
